About Us
Zad for Development is a non-governmental and non-profit organization in Somalia. Established in 2019, the aim is to empower vulnerable communities through comprehensive humanitarian and development programs, working to ease their suffering and strengthen their self-reliance.
Zad for Development is committed to serving the most vulnerable groups, including poor families, internal displaced people, children, orphans, and marginalized communities, through a comprehensive approach focused on social care, livelihood support, emergency relief, peacebuilding, and climate change awareness.
Our interventions cover water and sanitation, health, education, agriculture, peace building and governance, and the empowerment of women and youth, with a strong emphasis on job creation and reducing unemployment among displaced and affected families to help them achieve economic independence.
Our success is built on partnerships and collaboration with stakeholders, as we work tirelessly on impactful development projects, such as building schools and health centers and responding to crises. With a dedicated professional team, we ensure high-quality services and swift humanitarian responses.
